The Undergraduate Research Symposium (URS), one of the largest university-based symposia in the country and FSU's only all-campus interdisciplinary undergraduate research showcase, provides undergraduate students from all majors the opportunity to present their work to the wider community.

This year, the URS will be held in the Student Union Ballrooms on April 1, 2026. Hundreds of student researchers, including those from the Garnet and Gold Scholar Society, Honors in the Major Program, the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP), and more, will present their work as poster and creative presentations.

Attend Nourishing Creativity & the Undergraduate Research Awards

You are formally invited to Nourishing Creativity and the Undergraduate Research Mentor Awards on April 1 from 12:00-1:30 pm in the Student Union Ballrooms. If you would like to join us for the event, please RSVP using this Qualtrics form by Monday, March 23.

During the event, we will announce the recipients of the Undergraduate Research Mentor Awards, recognizing research mentors who have made a significant impact in guiding and supporting student research. Following the awards ceremony, selected students will showcase their creative projects, highlighting the research occurring in creative disciplines.
